The [[Market Place]] enables you to trade your 3 resources, Stone, Wood and Silver. As each island is naturally plentiful of one resource and lacking in another, trading becomes important to obtain all resources necessary for your city's growth.  
On the island only one of these raw materials is bountiful, and there is another resource in which there is a lack of, plays the [[Deal]], especially to start with [[Farming Villages]], which play a large role.  For only so it is possible to have sufficient each raw material to the decree - and the Polis can grow and thrive.

If the farming villages on your island cannot present you with a desirable offer you can opt to trade with other players. Trading with other players requires your Marketplace to be expanded to Level 5.

Offers from other players can be viewed in the Marketplace menu. Once you have found a desirable offer in a reasonable ratio you can choose how many resources to accept, and will be shown how many resources will be received for that amount.

In order to balance the uneven production of the three raw materials, it is important to trade excess resources with farming villages.

Prerequisites

In order to trade your city must have a Market Place. For this, you must have a level 3 Senate and a level 5 Warehouse.

The farming village you wish to trade with must have a mood of at least 80%, so it is advisable to trade with a farming village before you loot the village.

Ratios

Once you have found a farming village that is prepared to trade with you, click on it and then click on the TradeButton.png to open the Trade window. Once open you see a window like the one bellow. You can see that this particular village is willing to trade Wood (Wood.png) for Silver (Silver.png).

Note: The minimum recources that can be traded are 100.
