Grepolis was updated to version 2.05 on June 22, 2011.

Features/Changes

  • Automatically sent e-mails now contain a link where players can directly jump to the ingame settings if they want to change their e-mail-settings
  • Players will now receive 300 resources when validating their e-mail address
  • Players are now able to buy extra vacation days for gold (now live)
  • Changed the way vacation mode works: Player get 42 days per year as usual, but they will receive new vacation days exactly one year after registration or one year after receiving their last new vacation days (this does not count for vacation days they bought) (now live)
  • Players will see a hint if the phoenician salesman arrives for the first time in their town
  • Redesigned premium window: Player will now see the benefit of each feature without having to read all the popup texts
  • Added an indicator for resurrection in command overview

Bugfixes

  • Fixed an error occuring when trying to see details of an occupation while the player is not in this town
  • Fixed a bug where players can still place silver in caves of their conquered towns
  • Helmet of invisibility should now hide attacking troups properly for the first 10% of their way

Features/Changes

  • Players now have the possibility to open the alliance forum in a separate browser tab
  • The time and resource values for offers in farming villages were adjusted
  • Players can now disable a town group from the city list
  • Expanded click areas on the farm spaces
  • New layout for daily activity bonus
  • When attacking someone with beginners protection, the attacker now sees how long the protection lasts
  • Town names in command popups now have a small mouseover showing their full name

Grepolis was updated to version 2.03 on May 18, 2011.

Features/Changes:

  • A new island info window was added which provides players with useful information regarding: free spaces, farm towns and currently settled towns on the island. The window can be accessed by clicking on the bonus/malus icon.
  • Players can now also link islands with BBCodes.
  • Morale is now displayed in the attack window (if morale is active on world).
  • The God power "plague" of hades is not longer extendable(blame it on the new Greek health-care system).
  • Improved command info window design.
  • Maximizing windows is now also possible by clicking on the titlebar of a minimized window.

Bugfixes

  • Casting powers on commands was not possible if town name was extremely long, as the name covered the tab to add a spell.
  • God powers were not available in every city
  • Improved loot display in commands overview

Version 2.02

Grepolis was updated to version 2.02 on May 3, 2011.

Features/Changes:

  • Player now receive a daily reward when logging in. Each day in a row they log into the game, the reward is raised a little. At the 5th step, player will get the maximum reward. It stays at the 5th step until the player misses a day. Then the reward is set back to the 1st step.
  • The layout of the market has been revamped.
  • If a player has researched booty, he can now choose among normal and doubled values when requesting resources from a farming village.
  • The layout of the world selection page has been changed.
  • Alliance leader and founder can now see in alliance members overview, if a player from their alliance is banned.
  • Ghost towns now have frazzled flags.
  • Added a morale calculator to the simulator. By clicking on the morale picture, a player name can be entered. The simulator will calculate the moral for attacking this player and fill up the respective field in simulator.
  • Added a pop-up to the server time showing the server time without considering the timezone the player has configured in his settings.
  • Town info now shows ocean number and co-ordinates of this town.
  • Defender now see the battle points they will receive after an attack in their fight reports.

Bugfixes

  • Arrival time of phoenician trader shown in docks now takes custom timezone-setting into consideration.
  • Fixed the trading of wood via trade overview for IE8.
  • Fixed a bug where fertility improvement could sometimes show a wrong number of units in town and unit order queue.
  • Fixed the world selection screen to break sometimes in Korea.

  • Fixed the time indicator in storage. It was partially shown behind the background for some languages.
  • Players can no longer avoid a permanent ban when deleting their accounts.
  • Fixed Page numbers in endless scrolling areas. In some cases they showed odd values.
  • When a player has lost his last town, he will now be redirected to the login page.
  • When casting a power on a command, the success message will now be shown correctly.

  • Fixed a bug where units from an attack window are reset if a docks or barracks window is open and a unit from docks or barracks is finished.

  • Units are now updated correctly after an incoming attack hits.

Features/Changes:

  • Premium: Players can get an optional notification when their building queue is completely finished

  • Mood in map-popup refreshes after claiming loads or units from a farm town
  • Commands in menu-bubbles did not hide the cancel button after ten minutes
  • Tool tips on returning commands in menu-bubbles show correct string now

  • Auto-filling units into the simulator did not work if the building window was open
  • Trade ratio text was displaced
  • Espionage and the hide window buttons were conflicting each other
  • Hammer in city-overview was not clickable twice
  • If a planned attack is set in the past the attack-planer shows now notifies the player
  • Recruiting all mythological units was possible with any god...Sorry that was fix
  • Farm tutorial shows a hint if the player has completed the current step already
  • If you interacted with the minimap the tutorial was closed automatically
  • Some first tabs of windows were missing
  • Missing popups were added
  • Missing translations were added
  • The world-wonders era starts after 6 months (instead of 9 months)

On March 9th 2011, Grepolis was updated to version 1.26.5.

Features/Changes:

  • The number of spies that were sent to the same town are know shown
  • Only Players with validated email address can send massmails now.
  • A Grepolis 2.0 marker was added in "select new world" window. Players will be able to see if the world they join is a 2.0 world or not.

Bugfixes:

  • There were some problems with attacks that arrive at the same time.
  • In the alliance-forum some threads with a lot of published reports caused JavaScript errors.
  • Fake "incoming attacks" were fixed
  • Bolted temples now produce favour according to their diminished levels.
  • Bolted markets now trade resources according to their diminished levels.

Version 1.26.3

On February 2nd 2011, Grepolis was updated to version 1.26.3.

Features/Changes:

  • Players will be able to see their vacation log

Bug Fixes:

  • The premium commands overview icon was missing
  • The player color in a map can be deleted now, even if a player no longer exist
  • You can now see the two last festivals in premium culture overview with IE
  • Player can now receive the "early game over" award at any time in the game.
  • Attackable bans don't work when vacation mode is active
  • Clock times in the alliance forum should now show the correct time.
  • The "best X of the day" awards were shown in the forum and in messages
  • Divine units now work correctly in the simulator
  • Small building time divergences with the units were fixed.
  • In premium overview -> on town info, the research was taken from the current town, not from town where the units originated
