What is Farming?
Farming is essentially the taking of resources from Farming Villages. Prior to 2.0, this would have been done by sending troops to strengthen or loot the farm.

However, in 2.0, looting can be done with a click of a button.

Farming in 2.0
At the start, each player starts with 1 farm each. This farm can be looted to gain more resources, can be called upon for more resources or can be expanded for a bigger resource output. However, unlike the previous system, farming does not require troops. Farming also requires elements of teamwork to expand and upgrade the farm.

Farming in 2.0 is as easy as clicking a button. However, once you have selected the amount of resources you want, you will need to wait for the farm to restock the resources, which could take a varying amount of time. You cannot loot or demand again from this village until this time is up. Please note that the specified amount is not the total amount of resources you'll receive, but is the amount of each resource you'll receive. So, if the offer says "24 resources", it means 24 wood, 24 stone and 24 silver. World speed affects the total amount of resources you receive, not the amount of time you have to wait til resources are ready again.

Booty (an academy research) in 2.0 doubles the amount of resources you receive, but also doubles the amount of time you will have to wait.

Demanding Resources
The first method of gaining resources from a farm is by demanding. This gives a reduced rate of resources, but doesn't effect mood at all.

This can be done by clicking on your farm (the one depicted by a green flag), selecting the demand tab and by demanding the specified amount (remember you'll get this amount of each resource). You'll receive this instantly. You'll then need to wait the specified amount of time before you can demand, or loot again.

#The farming villages current mood. This is unaffected when demanding resources.
#The current farming village level. (1 is the default, 6 is the highest level)
#Time until you're able to loot/demand again. In this screenshot, the player is ready to demand/loot again.
#The amount of each resource* you'll receive if you take this offer.
#The time you'll have to wait until you can loot/demand again if you take this offer
#You can demand this offer with this button, with the resources being delivered instantly.

The amount of each resource you'll receive varies upon the farming village level and whether or not you have Booty researched, which doubles the amount of time you have to wait but also doubles the resource output.
