Sharing images in Grepolis
In Grepolis, you can display images in notes and share images with other players in private messages and on the alliance forums, by using the [img]-BBCode.
The same result can be achieved by clicking the image button in the navigation on top of each text field.
Restrictions
There is a security check in place to ensure shared images can't be exploited for malicious actions. For this to work, the websites hosting the image need to accept anonymous requests for the image from the Grepolis domain (Cross-Origin Request).
If the hosting website does not allow anonymous requests, unfortunately we cannot display the image and the following message will be displayed:
Quite a lot of image hosting services already follow the cross-origin request standard. To make sure that you have enough alternatives at your disposal and can share images from Approved Scripts and known community websites, we additionally display all images shared from the following list of domains.
