Time conversion
Sorry for confusing you, I am glad someone actually noticed :) (sorry for the delay, I was inactive on the wiki for a while :() But the way it works is that first, you must convert the time that you have available into seconds. This might end up a large number, but it is necessary. I will use 27:46:40 First, you convert hours into seconds, this is done by multiplying the number of hours by 3600, which is the number of seconds in a hour, so, 27*3600 is 97200 Next, you convert minutes into seconds, so the number of minutes times 60, which is the number of seconds in a minute. so, 46*60 is 2760 Now you add your original seconds, your converted hours and your converted minutes to find the total seconds of the original time so 97200+2760+40=100000 (so convenient :P) next, you convert it into world speed one, this is done by finding your world speed (Alpha, Beta, and Delta are 1, Gamma, Epsilon and Eta are 2, Theta is 3) and dividing your total seconds of the original time by it. so if you totaled 100000 seconds in Gamma, you would now have 50000, now for senate conversion You take a look at the Senate page and find your senate level, remember that percentage. now, type the percentage as a decimal (so 73% is now 0.73) use a calculator (or paper) to find the reciprocal, the button will probably look like 1/x, where in this case 0.73 is the x. the reciprocal of 0.73 is 100/73, or, ~1.37 now take this number and multiply it by the number you created in the step before this one. so, 50000 will by multiplied by 1.37 to get 68500, this is your final total number of seconds. now, you divide 68500 by 3600, leaving the remainder untouched, so you will get 19 remainder 100, the 19 is your final hours, now you take the 100 and divide it by 60 leaving the remainder alone, so you get 1 remainder 40, the 1 is your final minutes, the 40 is your final seconds, so you end up with 9:01:40. --JKP3nt 22:33, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
