Purpose

You can conduct research in the Academy. Grepolis offers you various technologies that can fortify your troops, make your construction skills more effective or give you new battle techniques. The higher the expansion level of your Academy, the more technologies you can discover.

Cultural

You will also need an academy on level 30 so you can do the following: -Theater plays -Festivals -Olympic games
