Description
The Trireme is a mighty enemy to encounter in a sea battle, it's defense is supreme and it has devastating weapons. However, it is expensive to build.
The Trireme`s size and weapons are stronger than the bireme when it comes to defending, and his attack power is similar (but not quite) that of the Light ship. Thus making the Trireme a hybrid unit that can attack and defend. However the big cost of the Trireme (specially the population it requires) makes it a very poor choice for a naval unit in worlds with Revolt System
This changes in Conquest worlds where a player must break past the enemy`s fleet and then defend his Colony ship in the harbor. In Conquest worlds it is a great unit to send when conquering a town. This is because it's high attack will help to take the city, then with it's high defense it can help defend the city from enemy's trying to retake it until you can get more support, and as it will be sent along with the Colony ship its slow speed is irrelevant.
